Helping at the event allowed me to become more social with people on campus and allowed me to help out the community in my own way. I recommend this event to students who need community service and help getting active on campus, as it helps them get more active with things on campus.

Meeting with organizations to learn about local service and volunteer opportunities. Helping make snack bags for school children who don't have the same access to food. Learning about ways to give back to the community in a productive manner. Also allowing us to meet with other service scholars.

Helping pack boxes with Orphan Grain Train was a humbling and eye-opening experience. -opening experience. As I folded clothes, sorted supplies, and carefully packed each box, I was reminded of how much we often take for granted. Items that may seem simple, such as used shoes, coats, or even a warm blanket, can be life-changing for someone in need. The community is amazing in all, and works hard to achieve these amazing days as one whole group.

What stood out most to me was the sense of purpose behind every task. Each item packed wasn't just a donation; it was a message of hope and compassion. knowing that these boxes would soon be in the hands of children, families, or communities struggling with poverty or crisis in other countries gave me a deep sense of connection. Even though I may never meet the people receiving the aid, I felt a bond of shared humanity.

I appreciate the teamwork involved. Working alongside others, all with the same goal of helping those in need, created a positive and encouraging environment. It reminded me that small actions, when combined with others, can have a powerful impact.
