Paolo @ Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)
One of ACM's goals is to help and give back to the community. One way they achieve this is through volunteer work for career fairs for San Antonio elementary school. I was fortunate enough to be at this years Elrod Elementary career fair where I taught 3rd-5th grade students the importance and value of technology. Much of what we talked about was how prevalent technology is across our daily lives and how we interact with it. At the end we did a Scratch demo and it was a blast seeing kids excited about foundational coding skills.
